Downtime, +1 Items in the DDO Store and more

Downtime Announced:
Tarrant has announced some maintenance downtime for today, Wednesday:
+1 Items in the DDO Store:
Tolero mentioned something very interesting on Tuesday on the DDO.com boards. She is collecting feedback on the possibility of removing +1 items entirely from the DDO Store. She writes:
You can give feedback HERE. Personally, I'm in favor of removing the items from the Store. They are truly unnecessary and are perceived by some players as a bit of a "new player mistake." It's really, really easy to get +1 items in DDO just by playing a few quests, so the best advice has always been to not buy them. However, I suppose they could come in handy if you had all of your weapons damaged by rust monsters, oozes or the like mid-quest and needed a quick replacement. Still, not worth it.
New Turbine Point Structure Announced!
This is kind of a biggie, IMO, even though it's not necessarily that much of a change. Turbine has announced a new price and point structure for Turbine Points HERE:
It's nice to finally have that 1:10 ratio for Turbine Points, something I've long advocated personally. Not a bad deal, either!
Update 3 Previews:
