A Guide To Picking Your Server(s) - by Merlask - and a great night of gaming
I definitely want to call attention to a major undertaking Merlask has succeeded in doing. It's called "A Guide To Picking Your Server(s)". She's been working for quite a while on coming up with a great overview of the servers: what they feature, what the "personality" of the servers are like, why you might want to join one server over another, etc. Here's the LINK. Seriously, amazing work and a huge asset to people new to the game and those looking to maybe take a look at other servers.

Also, just want to say that some nights of DDO are better than others. You know - some days it's like you can't find a good group, or have trouble with quests, while other nights just seem to "click". Tonight was a great night for me. I joined up a fantastic pick up group and tore through a bunch of House P quests - did the 'controversial' Purge the Heretics along with Caged Trolls and all of Tangleroot - all on Elite. Reason? House P favor, baby!!!
Why House P favor? The Pendant of Time! Yup - got it as of tonight. Talk about one of the coolest items in the game. For those who don't know, it's a permanent sort of clicky (click it, it lasts until you 'face danger', which I believe means when you enter an instance). It's a super-haste-type-thing. Mockduck is zooming across Stormreach! I've been wanting this one for a while, and finally got it. Yeah! Also, another nice thing about it is it sits in the trinket slot, which I really hadn't had a good item for until now.
Also got about 10-15,000 xp tonight, which is a good thing too...
Man, what a great night of DDO! The PUG I was in was in total sync - we completely decimated everything in our path. Super Power Gaming night for me!
I'll be getting the next podcast up tomorrow evening-night. Til then -

Great job! It was about time some one did this. You were right on about Xeoit my home server all though it is some times hard to hear the truth. Did you see there is all ready a post on the Xeroit server page talking about your post.

I am hopeing to play again early July. Yes, of you think I am a celeb I haven't done the podcast in a while. I am hoping to do one for next week end, answering your Warforged questions. Some one else you might add to the Xorit celbs list is Memnir. During the first year of the game Memnir got screwed over by a player who I shall not mention. The server really got togather to help him and that may be part of the reason the server is so close.

Actually Mem is listed... but as his character name. Thinking of revising it to showing him as Memnir. But on the other hand several of the Xoriatese stated they prefered him by his char name lol. I also had the pleasure of an at length chat with Mem, who I found to be a very nice, friendly, and welcoming person. All that fabled hate of Xoriat is definately a family spatting type thing ^^ I never felt unwelcomed
